 Linda Macintyre

Linda is a Physiotherapist, Craniosacral Therapist and Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher with over 20 years of experience in Australia, the UK, India and Kenya.  She embraces a holistic approach to healthcare, integrating both mainstream and complementary therapies, and is one of the few Physiotherapists in Australia specialising in Craniosacral Therapy.

After graduating from the University of Sydney in 1999, Linda worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, neurological rehabilitation centres, sports (Rugby Union), and in private practice, including as Director and Principal Physiotherapist at Sydney Physio and Pilates, a multi-disciplinary health clinic in Sydney.

In 2007, she completed her Diploma in Craniosacral Therapy in London, and for three years, worked closely with marginalised women and their daughters in the Red Light District of Mumbai (India), helping to fund education initiatives for the daughters of women trafficked into the sex trade.

Linda has a special interest in working with trauma, PTSD and other conditions that benefit from nervous system regulation (e.g. out of a flight/flight or freeze response).

She has additional postgraduate training in Brainspotting, Acupuncture, Women’s Health, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Clinical Pilates, and attends regular postgraduate courses both in Australia and overseas.
